I invite you to review the latest Health and Medicine Counsel of Washington update which includes memos from February 17th and February 5, 2010. The first memo provides a summary of Health Care Reform, Section 215 of H.R. 3845 USA PATRIOT Amendments Act of 2009, NIH Public Access Policy, Health Information Technology. The second memo highlights the President’s budget for Fiscal Year 2011 for the Department of Health and Human Services, including NIH, Institute of Museum and Library Services and EPA Library System. The budget provides a $1 billion increase for NIH and a $21 million increase for NLM.
