*** The Disaster Information Specialist monthly meeting is open to 
everyone -- please spread the word and invite others ***

The September Disaster Information Specialist Adobe Connect session will 
be held Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 1:30 PM ET. See connection 
information below.

We will be hearing reports from the remaining four of the seven disaster 
health information outreach projects funded by the National Library of 
Medicine for September 2011-September 2012:

*Inova Fairfax Hospital, Falls Church, VA

*American Academy of Pediatrics

*Monroe County Department of Public Health, Rochester, NY

*Kanawha-Charleston Health Department, Charleston, WV

We will also be providing an update on the Medical Library Association 
Disaster Information Specialization.  Many people have taken the basic 
and advanced courses either through the in-person or online sessions.
