Librarian, Gloria Willson, hosts the meeting in the William Hallock Park
Memorial Public Health Library. Overseen by the Bureau of Public Health
Training, the library serves staff, students and the public. We will
have a tour of the library, hear an overview of its services, and learn
about its history.
October is Health Literacy Month
(http://www.metro.org/collaborate/index.php/HealthLiteracy), and in
observance we'll conclude with a roundtable discussion of your
experiences. Priya Massand, a health literacy specialist for the Queens
Library Adult Learner Program, kicks off the discussion with a report on
her library's program.
