The next quarterly meeting of METRO's Consumer Health Information
Special Interest Group (CHI SIG) is coming up!

Topic: NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene's Public Health
Librarian, Gloria Willson, hosts the meeting in the William Hallock Park
Memorial Public Health Library. Overseen by the Bureau of Public Health
Training, the library serves staff, students and the public. We will
have a tour of the library, hear an overview of its services, and learn
about its history.
October is Health Literacy Month
(http://www.metro.org/collaborate/index.php/HealthLiteracy), and in
observance we'll conclude the meeting with a roundtable discussion of
your experiences in supporting health literacy at your institutions.
