Substance Abuse Librarians & Information Specialists (SALIS) and the Association of Mental Health Librarians (AMHL) cordially invite you to the *5th
Annual Joint SALIS/AMHL Conference* to be held in Washington, DC from April 21-24, 2020.
*Saint Elizabeths Hospital* <https://dbh.dc.gov/page/saint-elizabeths-hospital>, the first federally funded psychiatric hospital in the United States, will serve as the host organization.
Our theme for this year, *Capital Ideas: Revolutionary Solutions for Unconventional Times*, reflects the changes in the library and information fields, including the need to continue integrating multi-disciplinary solutions to current local, national and international efforts that improve population health.
We are putting together an exciting program of revolutionary knowledge and topics that will guide you in this new decade. Confirmed program sessions include Digital Lending and Copyright by Michelle M. Wu, Associate Dean for Library Services and Professor of Law at George Washington University and an update on the SALIS Collection: Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs <https://archive.org/details/salis?tab=about>.
Call for proposals and registration is open. Registration rates start at $210 and include a welcome reception and lunch daily.

As libraries move from a print collection legacy towards global information accessibility and sharing, we would like to hear from you about innovative ideas, projects, and research to keep libraries and information centers dealing with ATOD (Alcohol, Tobacco & Other Drugs), mental health, and related subject areas in the forefront of information management and access.
