23 April, organised by IFLA HBS & E4GDH
To: <ifla-l at iflalists.org>

Coronavirus has highlighted as never before how being online is crucial to
our lives. Community organisations, including libraries, have a key role in
building digital inclusion and digital health literacy.

IFLA Heath and Biosciences Libraries section (HBS) and Evidence for Global
and Disaster Health Special Interest Group (E4GHD) are pleased to announce
our joint webinar:

*Combating digital health inequality in the time of coronavirus *

Thursday 23rd April, 1500 -1600 BST (check the timezone
<https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=E4GDH+webinar%3A+Combating+digital+health+inequality+in+the+time+of+coronavirus&iso=20200423T15&p1=136&ah=1>
where you are)

In the webinar, Bob Gann will describe how community organisations have
worked to support people who might otherwise be excluded. This has been
achieved by providing access to technology as well as building digital
skills, confidence and digital health literacy.

*We hope you can join us! *

Please see our Events <https://www.ifla.org/node/92991> page for more
information, including how to register.
Note that a recording will be made available online afterwards.
