The New York/New Jersey Chapter of the Medical Library Association has extended the deadline for submitting Lightning Talk proposals to Friday, September 13th. Authors will be notified of acceptance no later than Wednesday, October 9th. If accepted, the deadline for submitting the final, revised abstracts will be due by Tuesday, October 15th.

The theme of our meeting is “Getting to We: Building Communities through Collaboration,” and it will be held on November 6, 2019 at the Rutgers Inn and Conference Center, in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

To Submit:
Proposals for lightning talks should use a structured abstract format using the MLA Research Section format: http://www.mlanet.org/p/cm/ld/fid=517.

Each presentation proposal should include two documents:

· The first abstract document should include information on presenters—names, institutional affiliations, and email addresses.

· The second abstract document should be blinded, with no author or institutional information.

· Proposals will be evaluated on originality, innovation, organization, and clarity.

· Lightning talks will be five minutes in length.

Proposals should be submitted to: nynjmla19 at gmail.com<mailto:nynjmla19 at gmail.com>
