Subject: MLA News Expert Searching Column Needs Writers for 2014

The MLA News Expert Searching column, a periodic column, keeps MLA members informed of expert searching topics and methods. Health sciences librarians play a significant role in the expert retrieval and evaluation of information in support of clinical, scientific, and administrative decision-making in healthcare institutions. Health sciences librarians also train future healthcare practitioners and other end-users in the best retrieval methods.
Please share your searching knowledge and skills with your colleagues. Consider writing a brief piece on your expert tips, tricks, programs, or instruction methods on expert searching to the MLA News. There will be four expert searching columns this year.
If you are interested in writing a brief article for the Expert Searching column please contact me directly [diane.cooper at nih.gov<mailto:diane.cooper at nih.gov>] with the topic that you would like to submit for consideration.

Thank you,
