As a part of the institution wide strategic planning process, the NYAM library has been asked to come up with a procedure for collecting staff publications, and while we have a rudimentary system in place, we would like to know how your library handles staff publications.  Anything that you can share with us would be useful but we have some particular questions:

1) Who has the responsibility to make sure that internal staff publications are submitted to the library?  Is it the library, the individual staff member, departmental secretary/other point person?

2) Do you include staff publications in your online catalog, both hard copy and e-publications?

3) What kind of statistics, if any, do you keep on staff publications, for example, how many were added to the catalog in a given period of time?
