[mla-nynj] Surprise Party for Kathel Dunn

Colleagues,

As you know, Kathel Dunn is leaving the area, for a new position down at NLM. The Chapter would really like to have a surprise party for her.

To that end, we have set up a room at The New York Academy of Medicine Library on July 24th from 9:30 to noon.  Everyone is welcome to attend.  

In order to pay for the party, we would like to ask anyone who is attending to please contribute $10 for a cake, beverages and a small gift.  If you are unable to attend, and would like to contribute to the gift, please let me know and we will add your name to the card.

Please do NOT reply to the listserv. Kathel is currently unsubscribed from the list (and we will have to put her back in a couple of days).  Please reply to Patricia Gallagher (pgallagher at nyam.org) or Sue Hunter (Sue.Hunter at library.med.nyu.edu) asap.  You can send your donation for the party gift to either Sue or me.

We need to have responses by July 18th, so we can order the cake and the beverages. We hope you can attend.  If you have questions, let me know.

And remember, this is a SURPRISE party. DON'T tell her!!!
