Call for papers: Journal of Electronic Resources in Medical Libraries
(JERML)
The Journal of Electronic Resources in Medical Libraries (JERML) is a
peer-reviewed professional journal devoted to the access, evaluation,
and management of electronic resources in the medical library
environment. JERML is the source for practical, up-to-date information
about important developments and issues related to the provision and use
of electronic resources in medical libraries.
Examples of topics relevant to this journal:
--comparison of federated search products
--collection development and selection of electronic resources
--migrating electronic reserves to other platforms
--archiving various electronic formats
--cost analysis of digital resources
--relationships with database/journal publishers/vendors
--critical review of mobile gadgets/devices of value to health sciences
librarians
--tips for negotiating licenses
--cross training staff to manage digital resources
--gathering and interpreting usage statistics

Deadlines are ongoing but papers for vol. 5, no. 3 are currently being
accepted.
