What better way to connect with colleagues than by sharing your ideas?
The 2008 NPC invites proposals for the best ideas expressed as a poster or
electronic demonstration. The range of opportunities for self-expression
is unlimited. The NPC encourages posters that facilitate collaboration
and highlight the vision, use, or development of cutting-edge technologies
and the means by which health sciences librarians can harness todays
powerful information environment to promote access to health care
information. Consider local best practices, valid research results,
current trends, and future projects that highlight the power of
partnerships. The NPC is promoting the concept of a green meeting, with
alternatives to paper copies of handouts encouraged.
Plan to submit your abstract, using the structured abstract guidelines at
http://research.mlanet.org/, by Monday, November 5, 2007. Posters should
not repeat information submitted for papers. Posters will be posted to
MLANET prior to the meeting and will be available for viewing during MLA
08. Awards will be given for the best posters. Complete submissions
details are available at:
http://www.mlanet.org/am/am2008/call.html
Questions about posters should be sent to either of the following 2008 NPC
members, Tammy Mays (tmays at wisc.edu ) or Elizabeth Irish
(irishe at mail.amc.edu).
Thank you,
Tammy Mays and Elizabeth Irish
