The new MLA Social Networking Task Force is surveying MLA members about
social networking software. Sue Ben-Dor is the Chapter Council Rep to
this task force. An MLA Focus e-mail went out this week with information
about the survey and a link to it.  The survey is open through August
10th and only takes a few minutes to complete.

few minutes to complete the survey - it will help the Task Force to help
you get more out of your association. 

The Task Force is also working on creating guidelines for setting up a
blog.  They are working on blog guidelines first because this is a tool
that MLA already supports and that some MLA groups are already using.
MLA supports Word Press, so I believe they might include hints to help
set up Word Press.  But also general blogging issues will be addressed.
